Recycling Is A Necessity

Recycling?  Sure everybody knows what recycling is, what to recycle and how to recycle, but how many people actually recycle.  Are enough efforts being done to create awareness on the need to recycle, especially amongst young children?  They are the ones that will be adversely affected if nothing is done now to save and protect the environment.

Millions and millions of trees are cut every year and the Earth is constantly being mined of all its minerals and resources.  All for what, if not to feed the industries that use virgin resources for their manufacturing processes and products.  Recycling is no longer an option, it is a necessity.

Using recyclables as a raw material resource can help to reduce the need to use virgin material.   We should be very concerned about conservation of nature and to realize the full potential of our ability and our responsibility to make a positive change towards the environment.  Saving the environment is not just the moral thing to do but it is also a great way to save money, energy and time and also to live a longer and healthier life.  A very important thing that we must remember is that the future of all life on earth depends on each and every one of us.

That is why it is so important that we inculcate the importance of recycling and care for the environment in young children so that as they grow older they become mindful of this fact and will be able to adopt an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

So, to those who have done their part in recycling, a thumbs-up to all of you.  All of you have taken the wise step of doing your bit to save our Earth.  After all, it’s the only home we have, so don’t you think it’s worth saving?  Someone once said, “Alone we will fail but together we fail not.”

Keep recycling, every one!!!
